Red Riding Hood film review

Red Riding Hood is a film about a young girl named Valarie (Amanda Seyfried) who lives in a cursed village called Daggerhorn. The village is cursed by a warewolf which lives among the villagers and is a villager themselves. Valarie is engaged to be married to Henry Lazar (Max Irons) but she's really in love with Peter (Shiloh Fernandez) The warewolf who plagues their town wants Valarie to run away with them causing everyone to turn against Valarie and set her up as bait so the town can kill it.
There's a LOT of foreshadowing going on in this film with 3 certain people, Her grandmother (Julie Christie), Henry and Peter. When Valarie meets the warewolf, she sees their dark brown human eyes causing her to think of these three people. The phrases they say and the way they act makes you think that one of these three people could be the warewolf.
One of the main faults I could pick out in this film is the fact that the character who actually is the warewolf, you never really see much of, some of you may think of this as a good thing but on the other hand it can get rather confusing. The genres of this film are fantasy, horror and mystery. I think it's more of a mystery than fantasy and horror as the only fantasy it has in it is the warewolf and the fact that their is a warewolf isn't in fact scary at all. There is a lot of mystery going on.
I'd recommend this film to twilight fans and people who are big fans of fantasy films or warewolf films- maybe Harry Potter fans as well?

Welcome to Wonderland Band Review.

Welcome to Wonderland are a new upcoming band from Darlington. They're a rock/Alternative band who've just started out. They cover songs such as 'Hollywood Whore' by Papa Roach and 'Kiss and Tell' by You Me At Six. They have not yet wrote any songs of their own or performed live yet but by being at their practises I've found that they are quite better and more ogirinal than bands such as 'Paramore' and 'No Doubt.'
The band is an all girl band made up of 4 girls. Chloe Bean (Rhythm guitar) Beth Keegan A.K.A Buffy (lead guitar) Sarah Davis (Drums) and Shannon Washburn (Vocals). The band is unique and I'm sure they're thinking of writing their own songs very soon. If you want to see some videos of the band check out Buffy's Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/sicparawhoreriot?feature=mhee or search them up on facebook facebook.com/welcometowonderland.

The Jellycats Review

The Jellycats are a new upcoming punk/pop/ska/nu band from Essex. The band consists of 3 men (Stu- Drums, Rob- Bass & Ollie- guitar) and 1 female (Emma- vocals). The bands music is fairly, if not very, different from most bands out there as they don't have a set genre, their songs can range from pop rock to punk.
To like their songs you'll need to be into pop rock/punk to actually enjoy the Jellycats songs. One of their most well known songs is 'Get Along' wrote by Ollie and Emma, this song is on their youtube channel which I recommend you check out if you're into bands like All Time Low or Blink 182.
Some of their influences consist of Paramore, Blink 182 and No Doubt- all of which are pop rock bands. For a band which isn't THAT well known they're better than some of the people in nowadays charts and these guys deserve a chance to be on them. They're a good band, they just need that extra push.
Emma, Stu, Ollie and Rob all deserve to be more known than they actually are, also TOWIE shouldn't be as famous as it is as these guys rock Essex more than the people on TOWIE! If you're into pop rock/ punk go check them out at youtube.com/thejellycatsofficial or http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Jellycats/156157734427678

Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy Episode 1- Pele's cup review

Lot's of complaints have been made my Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy, so I decided to review it and I came to a conclusion- people who don't like NFLC clearly do not get that there is NO plot to it and that it's just a sketch show with over exaggerated characters.
In the first episode you meet Noel (Noel Fielding)- an over exaggerated version of himself who lives in a tree house in the jungle, Dolly (Dolly Wells)- a German eco trendy who seems to get on Noels nerves but she's still his best friend, Andy Warhol (Tom Meeten)- Noels robotic cleaner who's like a child, Noel has to teach him things, Smooth (Mike Fielding)- Noels butler who is also an anteater, Secret Peter- he's a chav thing, no one really knows what he is, he just happens to know Noel, Sgt. Raymond Boombox- a Newyork cop with a knife wound on his arm called gash, he seems to eat a lot instead of work, Dondylion- a mental lion who lives in a zoo. Daddy push- he has a shell for his head and dances to sherlock homes, Renny & Gaviskon- two french chefs who take a trip to the moon and Roy Circles- a chocolate finger who also teaches P.E and sings about his dead wife.
People who like the show seem to like Dondylion and Daddy Push the best out of the characters. They like Dondylion because of the way he's played out- a manic depressive lion who longs to be free and out of the zoo. He's one of the favourites because of the things he says, one of his most memorable quotes are 'I ASKED FOR QUAVERS!' Daddy push has a shell for his head and dances to Sherlock Holmes tapes.
People have also been comparing Luxury Comedy to the boosh however Noel Fielding himself even said and I quote 'The Mighty boosh and Luxury Comedy are two different things, two completely different projects' so for all viewers watching expecting the boosh you're not going to get it. It's also been brought to my attention that people say Noel needs Julian to be funny- I disagree- Noel is funny on Never Mind the Buzzcocks without Julian, why should Luxury Comedy be any different
In all honesty I think you need to understand Noel's comedy, not just the boosh comedy, but Noels comedy in general and understand that Noels surrealism just won't end and he doesn't need Julian there to dumb it down, I like the fact that Noel has braved himself and done something no one else has EVER done before.

The mighty boosh- series 3 review 'The Power of The Crimp'

Whilst watching the 3rd series of the mighty boosh I instantly picked up the fact it had a darker side to it from the first 2 series of the boosh- not that that's a bad thing, I quite enjoyed the dark, funny feel to it. The setting is in the shop 'Nabootique' which is owned by their shaman friend Naboo the enigma (Mike Fielding) and his familiar Bollo the gorilla (Dave Brown) My favourite episode from the 3rd series has to be 'The Power of The Crimp' as it represents how peoples originality is dying and we should fight for it back. The way Vince Noir (Noel Fielding) reacts to Lance Dior (Tom Meeten) copying him makes annoyed as his look has been stolen, same when Howard Moon (Julian Barratt) discovers is look alike Harold Broom (Simon Farnaby) and they have to use their own way of stealing back their identities.
It's set in Naboo's shop 'The Nabootique' a second hand shop in north London and basically Vince Noir comes in looking all upset and annoyed so his friend Howard Moon tries to cheer him up with a song 'it's what's inside that counts'
Lance Dior is trying to be EXACTLY like Vince which makes Vince really annoyed and Lance tries to steal Howard from him- obviously Howard refuses his offer so he gets Harold Broom to copy Howard. The flighty Zeus (Lance and Harold) start doing everything The Mighty boosh (Vince and Howard) do! Copying their songs and stealing their slot at popular club 'The Velvet Onion' which is ran by American business man Bob Fossil (Rich Fulcher) so Howard and Vince compete with The Flighty Zeus in a crimp off to see who's the real original creators of crimping. Gary Numan features in  this episode too! What's NOT to like?!
Vince Noir is loosely based on N. Fielding and the way Meeten can loosely portray N. Fielding too makes it so real. The Mighty boosh isn't script based, it's mainly improvised to a story line which N. Fielding and Barratt have wrote so the way they make the characters fit in with each other is genius.
This T.V show isn't like anything like TOWIE or Big brother, it's colourful and bright for these bleak times. If you like The Mighty boosh, you should enjoy 'Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy' on E4 at 10pm on thursday.
